Hug Fest 2021

Daddy Steve: We're interrupting our blogcation for a very important reason.  A few years ago, in the early days of the Gregoropolis blog, we did a post on National Hugging Day, which happens to be today, January 21.

I think it's safe to say that in current times, we could all use a hug more than ever.  Unfortunately, hugging others isn't the easiest thing to do right now, so the kids came up with a brilliant idea.  They're going to do a mass hugging and then send all of their hugs to you virtually via the blog.

So!  Make sure your wi-fi connection is optimized because a whole lot of Sasha and Gregor hug energy is about to come your way!

Blake: Do you have time for a hug, Uli?
Uli: Hee-hee, vell of course!

Pamela: I always say a hug and a nice cup of tea can cure anything.

Mikko & Tyler: Real guys hug!

Rolf & Lulu: We can hug without bumping noses!

Duncan: I feel less gloomy.
Alice: And I feel less anxious.
Frederick & Daphne: Hug power at work!

Frank: Hugs are nearly as good as chocolate!
Jennifer: Oh Frank, you sweet talker...

Kaveh: When you hug someone, you get more back than you give.

Holly Belle: Isn't this nice, John Martin?
John Martin: Yeah, but you can let go of me now.

HUGS from all of us at GREGOROPOLIS!

Out With The Old...

Daddy Steve:  The Gregoropolis kids wanted to share some random thoughts on the end of 2020 and the beginning of 2021...

Bowie: It was a funny year, that's for sure.
Valerie: Yeah, but I'm not laughing.

Luke: I never trusted 2020 from the get-go.  I don't like how it always stares at you.
Oliver: And those zeroes seem to follow you all around the room.
Luke: Pretty sneaky!

Harriet: Anyway, 'one' is a much more hopeful number.
Duncan: I never thought of it that way.

Sasha: It wasn't all bad.  At least we had each other.
Miguel: Very true, amigo.

Frank: And as long as there is pie, how bad can things be?
Uli: Don't you dare make a mess!

Patrick: Statistically speaking, our luck is bound to improve.
Ravi: It's only logical.
Patrick: Don't you just love logic?
Ravi: Indeed!

Holly Belle: Trust me, 2021 will be a lot better.
Kevin: Well, you may be right.
Holly Belle: What do you mean I 'may' be right?!
Meghan: Of course she's right!

Emile: Au revoir, 2020!
Louisette: Et bonjour 2021!
