Everything In The Garden Is Growing So Fine

Daddy Steve: And my, it is growing fine indeed.

It's hard to believe that just two months ago it still looked rather barren.

The boxwood and yew have had their trim.

The petunias are blooming.

The rudbeckia was growing, until rabbits got to it.

Even Apollo is in a more jovial and carefree mood.

Blake and Sebastian certainly think so.

Sebastian:  He definitely looks happier now.
Blake:  He just needed a little sunshine!

Your garden is beautiful. And to think, all that lush green in the middle of the city! It's no wonder spring, summer and autumn mean so much work for you. It must be a relief to take a break in winter! As it's the middle of winter here, I enjoy seeing this snapshot of summer.

What a gorgeous garden. I love it when everything starts to fill out and looks so fresh and green.
Your Hosta's are looking full and lush and will soon be sending out flowers.
It's also so nice when the yew and boxwood have been trimmed and look neat and tidy.
I bet Apollo's so happy to finally be getting some sun surrounded by such a smart and lovely garden.
Many thanks for sharing these lovely photos.

Your garden is looking wonderful. I love the summer, when everything is flowering, and looks so green and beautiful. It is so nice to see our hard work come to fruition. I've been sitting here this morning looking out into my garden and loving the different shades of green and watching the mass of birds busy on the feeders. It is blissful.

So poor Apollo wasn't grumpy at all, and who can blame him for winter depression? But now he'll be happy again in those lovely surroundings.
Your garden is wonderful. You must have put a lot of work into it!

Lorraine: We've been getting a lot of bird traffic as well. There is one male cardinal who's been larking about every night, just about dinner time. I'm determined to get his photo, but no luck yet! John

Your garden is lovely. So very neat and tidy. I have tried neat and tidy in our garden, but it just doesn't want to do it. No matter how much bushes are trimmed and edges are cut straight they soon go their own way again! Your Apollo is a fine looking chap :) x

Thanks Nanna. It actually looks much neater in the pictures than in real life. So much of gardening falls into two extremes. You're either coaxing things to grow, or they're growing far too well and you're fighting to keep them under control.
