Daphne: Spring has truly arrived! Isn't it glorious, Dan Ryan?
Dan Ryan: Spring has indeed sprung; and about time, too.
I thought it would never get here.
Dan Ryan: Have you ever noticed how Spring on the calendar
never seems to align with 'actual' Spring?
Daphne: A lot of things are like that. It's the big people.
They try hard, but they never get it right, poor things.
Daphne: But we made it! That's all that matters. All's well that ends well.
Hm, didn't someone write a play with that name?
Dan Ryan: I'm pretty sure it was Andrew Lloyd Webber.
Daphne: You know, for a posh girl like myself, Spring can be a hectic time of the year.
All of the garden parties and soirees, strolls and picnics. It can be exhausting--in a good way.
Dan Ryan: I know just what you mean.
I need to start scheduling all of my lawn chair naps.
Dan Ryan: Hello, old friend. It's good to see you.

Wow ! That Daphne's going to be one busy bee by the sounds of it. While dear Dan Ryan appears to have found an old friend he'll be hanging with over the coming months. I'm not surprised Dan Ryan welcomed that chair after hearing all Daphne's plans even I feel like I need a sit down !
I think I would rather hang out with Dan Ryan...a nice chair, a glass of iced tea and a good book!
