Uh-oh, what's going on here?
Pete Dakota: >mutter mutter, grumble, grumble<
Nicholas: Great Richard the III's ghost! Has a hurricane come through?
Pete: BLEAH!
Nicholas: Peter! Whatever is the matter?
Pete: Daddies John and Steve got festival confirmation! We have to decide what to pack!
Nicholas: Isn't Benjamin Roy going with you? Surely he can help?
Pete: Feh...He said he'd help, but he's too busy working on his new motorcycle!
Nicholas: Peter, you mustn't carry on so; the festival is still ages away. Come along, I'll make us a smashing cup of tea and you can tell me all about it.
Pete: Okay....
Nicholas: Then we'll come back and tidy up.

I'm with Pete , it's always so hard to know what to take on a trip ! You always take way more than you need and only wear or use a third of what in that case!
Hopefully after a nice calming cup of tea with Nicholas , Pete will have decided that less is more and maybe even clean up the floor.
How exciting to be going to the festival.. Pete you just need your PJ's and toothbrush and an empty case cos your Dads will surely fill it up for the journey home !..... :)
Pete Dakota, you'd better check first that you are going to the festival. In most families, the kids have to take turns going. Have your Daddies already confirmed you've been chosen? You've got plenty of time, don't stress. Let Nicholas make you a nice glass of iced tea and relax a bit!
Hi Aunt Marti--
Yes, Daddy John is sure. BR and I are going this year, and then Stephen Orange and Nicholas will go to the next one. Now, if I can just get BR away from his motorcycle to help me pack! See you in Ohio. Pete Dakota
Dear Aunt Marti -
I think Daddy Steve should be the one stressing out. After last year's festival there was some mummering among the girls that 'the haul' wasn't all that it should have been. This year with even more girls in residence, the pressure will really be on!
Uh oh, the
Boys are about to find out their wardrobe needs take second place! Girls so love the clothes and shoes!
I think that we all know THAT feeling of what to take and what not to take. About a week before leaving I usually put out on the spare bed what I'm thinking of taking and then deliberately make myself eliminate one piece each day.
If I were you (and especially knowing where you are going) I should take precious little to try to embarrass daddies Steve and John amongst their Sasha friends by being seen in the same clothing each day and so, be assured of at least getting some new gear (rather than all the money being spent on those ever increasing in number girls!) over the four day event.
Have a wonderful time!
