Nicholas Sahara: Now, what's this charming little scene?
Scout: This is the Advent calendar. Would you like to pick today's box?
Nicholas: Oh, of course, the Advent Calendar. The calendar of advent. Yes.
Scout: You don't know what it is, do you?
Nicholas: Ah, no.
Scout: It's a special calendar used to count the days in anticipation of Christmas. It has little windows, one for each day of December leading up to and including Christmas Eve. Behind each window is a little toy or candy. This is a Hot Wheels themed one, so the prizes will all be car related.
Nicholas: Delightful! We don't have these in my home country. Each night of December, up to Christmas Eve, we have a small parade winding through the streets of the capital city. The parade floats represent various merchants and groups of the city. Each night has different floats.
Scout: That's how we met! I was marching with a group of international hikers and tripped over a cobblestone; fell flat on my face right in front of where your father, the king, was sitting!
Nicholas: >Ha-ha< Yes! And that's how Papa knew you would be a good friend for me; you laughed as you stood up and brushed yourself off.
