Daddy John: One of our favorite blogs is Rose Cottage Friends, and some of our favorite posts are when Henry, Peggy Sue, Rory, and company open their yearly Advent calendars..
A couple of weeks ago, while doing our weekly shopping, the boys spotted this Hot Wheels themed Advent calendar.
Daddy Steve and I were immediately beset by wide-eyed imploring pleas that we purchase it and do our own this year. How could we refuse?
Please please please oh please please please please
Pete Dakota: It's Santa's garage!
BR: Okay, Pete, you find the first door and I'll place the prize on the mat.
Pete: Hmmm, where can it be?
BR: There it is! Right above the snowman's foot.
Pete: Hey! It's a car! A Hot Wheels! Makes sense, duh.
BR: I'll put it here, on the road. Looks like it could go zoomin' in the Winter Wonderland.
BR: This is actually pretty cool.
Pete: I can't wait to see what else there is!

Well what are Dads to do when so many pleading eyes are turned on them?
At least they didn’t want one each!

This is SO cool! The Rose Cottage (and Sasha Haven) friends would have LOVED this, but not getting out and about due to restrictions and High Vulnerability, and stupidly forgetting to look online (why didn't I think of that>!) means that they have missed out this year...I am so NOT going to let the lads here see this or they are going to be very jealous! I and probably they in the end, will look forward to seeing what is hidden behind the little doors each day.
